​​Our team protects, monitors, and manages 24 forest reserves,
28 conservation easements and
11 nature preserve properties.
We currently conserve land in 12 of the 15 counties in the UP
UPLC staff travel thousands of miles each year to monitor conserved lands, lead volunteer projects, host hikes, care for trails, and respond to stewardship needs across the Upper Peninsula.
